Art has always been my passion. I have a love for eccentricity, vibrance and colour. Makeup, in particular, has been something I’ve dabbled in for most of my life. I started off with sketching, painting my nails and wanting to paint my face. I see my style as creative, bold and experimental.

I studied a diploma course in art direction in photography and obtained a higher certificate in motion picture makeup at City Varsity. Overall, I am qualified as not only a professional makeup artist, I am also skilled in special effects makeup, photography, set dressing, property fabrication, body painting, sculpting and basic hairstyling. I graduated in 2018 and placed first in the country for the Creative Glamour makeup contest, taking home a makeup kit worth R12 000. The following year, I placed third for the Bokeh Creative makeup contest for my Gustav Klimt inspired look. I enjoy the thrill of making someone feel beautiful and confident; from soft, romantic looks, to other-worldly and editorial. I specialize in a variety of makeup styles. I have experience working in film, television, stills and commercials in both makeup artistry and art direction. I am currently based in Cape Town and work mainly as a freelancer. I love to create art at any given moment and see it as a true form of self expression and immortilizing one’s ideas.
